Olympus µ Tough 6000

The Olympus µ Tough 6000 (also known as the Stylus Tough 6000 in some regions), released in 2009, is a rugged compact camera designed for extreme conditions. It is waterproof up to 3 meters, shockproof from a 1.5-meter drop, freezeproof down to -10°C, and crushproof up to 100kg, making it perfect for adventure seekers. Equipped with a 10MP sensor and a 3.6x optical zoom (28-102mm equivalent), the camera is versatile for different photography scenarios. It features Dual Image Stabilization to help reduce motion blur and includes Tap Control, allowing users to adjust settings by tapping the camera, ideal when wearing gloves.

The camera supports xD-Picture cards and microSD cards, offering flexibility for storage. Its 2.7-inch HyperCrystal III LCD ensures visibility in bright conditions, while the Intelligent Auto Mode helps adjust settings for various scenes, making it beginner-friendly but tough enough for serious adventures.
